You've been swamped under the iPhone mania but brace yourself because it's not over. You might soon see another frenzy shaping up in the form of the G-Phone. Now we don't need to really specify to the tech geeks about what we mean, but for those who didn't get it, we're referring to the Google Phone, which according to rumours should be expected sometime next year.
No one has any concrete information, or a handset to show, but reports indicate that Google will incorporate its services into this Phone to ensure superior web browsing on the move. This means we can definitely expect the indispensable Google search engine as well as its highly popular interactive maps to be an integral part of the handset.
Now, Google will definitely be hoping that their G-Phone is as wanted as the iPhone. If the recent buzz around the phone is any indication, then the G-Phone is going to as big, if not bigger than the iPhone.
As mentioned earlier, rumours abound this phone, in fact according to a report from an investment guidance firm Anian in the US, Google has spent millions on a development budget and that HTC is being tapped to build a Linux-based G-Phone which will be launched on T- mobiles in the US, with Orange getting the exclusive in France and other countries.
